Wirral Fire Protection has moved its HQ to a purpose built facility on Corporation Road in Birkenhead.
The new premises cover bring the firm’s office and van depot to a single site. The company operates across the North West with a fleet of vehicles on the road, employing a growing number of engineers and office staff.
Managing Director Mike Pearson explains:
“The new location gives us room to keep growing and provides great parking facilities for visitors and customers for the retail extinguisher business. We’re already in a growth phase as our existing fire safety customers are opting to also use our electrical testing and contracting arm.”
The firm moved to Corporation Road from their previous home on the Dock Road. A large volume of traffic has been diverted past the new office whilst the bridges in Birkenhead are being restored. Mike adds:
“The extra traffic has given the business a boost in visibility. Fire Safety is set to stay at the top of business agendas during 2018, the office move has strengthened our position to meet demand.”
Wirral Fire protection has recently been on a recruitment drive for alarm and electrical engineers. Following the move to Corporation Road, future plans include an on-site training facility, adding apprentices and launching a new web site.
