Open Day At Bromborough Police Station

Officers at Bromborough Neighbourhood Policing Team are opening the doors of the police station to the public on Sunday, August 21.
An annual event, which last year attracted more than 2000 spectators, the open day will give residents the chance to receive an insight into the technology used by officers in Bromborough and to see police vehicles, bikes, horses, dogs as well as to have a tour of the prison cells.
Youngsters will also be able to have their faces painted and their fingerprints taken.
This year, as well as officers from CSI, firearms and traffic, Merseyside Fire and Rescue Service, the Ambulance Service, Wirral Outreach Youth Service, Tesco, Aftermath, Victim Support and Wirral Community Patrol will also be in attendance.
Inspector Dave Westby said: “This event has been well received by the community over the last few years and is an ideal opportunity for residents to get an insight into Merseyside Police and the technology that we use.
“It is also a good opportunity for the community to speak to their local officers and discuss any concerns they may have.”
The open day will run from 10am to 4pm at the station on Bromborough Village Road
