Firefighters have extinguished a large blaze at a recycling plant in Caerphilly county.
Six appliances were sent to the blaze at Newtown Industrial Estate, Crosskeys, which broke out at about 07:00 BST on Thursday.
Thick, black smoke was seen blowing over the area. The fire was put out before 10:30.
Residents were advised to keep windows and doors closed.
Jennie Griffiths, head of Joint Fire Control for South Wales Fire and Rescue Service, tweeted that fire involved a large amount of recycling refuse and metal.
Jess Poole, from Natural Resources Wales, said officials would contribute to the investigation and would look at “what may have caused this and establishing what steps can be taken to reduce the likelihood of it happening again”.
