Fire Safety Signs

	Fire Action Sign Necessary in all workplaces, these provide clear instruction for persons to follow in an fire situation. Normally sited adjacent to all fire alarm call points or, for premises without fire alarms on all fire exits, staff or communal areas.
	Fire Door Keep Shut Must be affixed to all internal fire resisting doors. Alternatively for doors to high risk areas such as plant rooms etc “Fire Door Keep Locked Shut”, also available.
	Fire Extinguisher Identification Must be sited above all Fire Fighting equipment.
	Push Bar To Open All escape door mechanisms must be signed accordingly. The following are available; Push pad to open, press to open, turn to open, break glass bolt to open.
	Fire Exit Keep Clear Should be affixed to the external side of all final exits in order to prevent accidents occuring through persons loitering there, or to stop vehicles parking against the door and obstacles including bins etc being left there.
	Fire Assembly Point Assembly Points must be conspicuous and clearly signed
	Fire Exit Above all Final Exits. A door that takes you out of the building (The running man should run in the direction the door opens and not towards the hinged side of the door) This sign does not require a directional arrow
