Fire Safety Signs
All our signs are of quality, rigid plastic construction and photo-luminescent ensuring they are visible under power loss conditions.
The following Fire Safety signs are required in all workplaces.

Fire Action Sign
Necessary in all workplaces these provide clear instruction for all relevant persons to follow in an emergency situation. Normally sited adjacent to all fire alarm call points or, for places without fire alarms on all emergency exits.
Fire Door Keep Shut
On all internal fire resisting doors. Alternatively cupboard doors to high risk areas such as plant rooms etc "Fire Door Keep Locked Shut" also available.
Fire Extinguisher Identification
These must be cited above all Fire Fighting equipment. Fire extinguishers, fire blankets etc.
Push Bar To Open
Push pad, press to open, turn to open, break glass bolt to open are also available. Remember, all exits or doors giving access to escape routes should be available without recourse to keys during the whole time the workplace is operational.
Fire Exit Keep Clear
Should be located on the external side of all final exits in order to prevent persons loitering there, vehicles parking against the door or obstacles including bins etc being left there.

To direct evacuees to the muster point
Fire Exit
Above all Final Exits (The running man must run in the direction the door opens)
Fire Exit Directional
Tells evacuees the direction of the nearest available or alternative fire exit. As a general rule, wherever you stand within the workplace you should have sight of a fire exit sign OR a fire exit sign complete with the arrowe directing evacuees to the nearset available fire exit.
